Regime Picks the Suicide Path رژیم خودکشی‌ را انتخاب کرد

ترجمه فارسی

Regime in Tehran does not seem to be ready for a major compressive yet and is continuing its brutal crackdown especially on Aushura’s day and even bringing more anti-riot equipments imported from china to confront the protesters and signaling to follow the China model on mass execution of opposition .Therefore they have not acknowledged that China model lacked millions of I reporters as do Iranian oppositions. They also have not learned from other dictators in contemporary history who have taken the very same path and have fallen such as Husák in Czechoslovakia in 1987 , Hitler in Germany and Joseph Stalin in Russia.

So far their action have only escalated the situation and made the opposition more radical and led the mass to demand regime change and have in fact shorten their life span. However opposition is finding new ways to adapt to the situation such as ; finding the weakness of these anti-riot cars; throwing paint to cover their window so when their pull the metal protector to clean their windshield they can break their window and trap their drivers says an Iranian blogger.

The opposition has also continued their civil disobedience by writing graffiti’s on walls, currencies which has frustrated the government to announce the invalidation of these currencies which is obviously not realistic and only a scare tactic considering reprinting these bills would cost them mullions of dollars and Iran’s economy has turn from bad to worse with 30% unemployment and more than 20% inflation. Is it only the matter of time that Khamenie would realize in order to save his regime, he has to make a major compromise by getting rid of Ahmadinejad . However by then it would be too late considering the anti-Khamenei and anti-regime sentiment in Iranian public opinion reflected form protesters during rallies in Iran.

Next Stage; Strike مرحله بعد از اعتراض ؛ اعتصاب گسترده

ترجمه فارسی

30 years ago, it was the strike initiated by the university students and its spread across Tehran Bazar and other cities and oil workers brought down the Shah’s regime. Today the 3rd and 2n generation of Iranians is reading from the revolutionary books of the 1st generation.

Thus last week many Twitters in Iran spoke about the possibility of widespread strike to bring down the regime, and They noted “it is clear that people from all class are ready for strike, this would force the military to join us, we should not wait for the regime’s next step, we have to be proactive.”

Today Amir Kabir university News in Iran reports; in reaction to the atrocities done to the people on Aushura’s day and students crackdown on universities across Iran, some of the students at Tehran’s Amir Kabir University have decided to not go to their exams and class and go on strike. The announcement noted “we have witnessed the violation of human rights on Aushura’s day by these bastards, they are not afraid of killing and raping people and wrongfully accusing people.” In the end the students noted “we the student of Amir Kabir University are uncertain on how in the midst of these shameful events we could attend our classes and take our exams, thus we are reluctant to not go to our class and take our exams until all of our classmate be freed.” In addition according to opposition site kaleme in addition to Amir Kabir University, Science and Industry(Elmo-sanat) University have also expressed their support for strike.

If this growing discontent and strike would continue to grow across different demographic of Iranians, we may witness the toppling of the Islamic regime very soon and possibly in the next couple months especially with the possibly of a stronger leadership emerging from the protesters themselves instead of the virtually ineffective leadership of Mousavi and his current believes to reform within the context of regime.

Iranian Central Bank to Invalidate Bills with Opposition Statements!

Iranian regime appears to have been frustrated with the wave of anti-regime slogan on Iranian currency and that is the proof to the effectiveness of Iranian civil disobedience against the regime. This should be a serious concern to them not only due to its psychological effect on showing how widespread the opposition is also if this policy be implement it would cost the regime millions of dollars. Iran with High unemployment, inflation rate, it is inevitable its economy would fall into depression especially if the current oil prices would stay the same, since Iran’s economy is highly dependent of oil revenue.

Possibility of a Terrorist Attack in Iran by the Regime to Blame on Opposition

Many bloggers and Twitters in Iran including khashm and friendfeed are speaking out about the possibility of a terrorist attack by the regime to blame on the opposition in Iran. khashm notes “this is a strategy that the radicals and intelligence agency of the Islamic republic have used before, such as the bombing at the Imam Reza shrine and the Cinema Rex Abadan(before the revolution to blame it on Shah) they want to achieve political gains by killing civilians.”

New Years' Resoloution; Iranian Green Revolution

After 30 years of dictatorship, Islamic republic is now more weak than ever before domestically and internationally, thanks to Iranian numerous religious and national calendar events promoted initially by the regime to rally its supporters in the street. But the very same events are now been used by the opposition. The most recent one was Aushura , in an unprecedented move where for the first time after more than a 1000 year people were shouting against their dictator rulers instead of commemorating the religious event. While this suggests that Iranians are becoming increasingly secular, but in recent protests there were no chanting against the religion ideologies , although the regime on Iranians state TV video propaganda would want to present the opposition as anti-religious to anger the lower class conservatives and stop the Green Movement’ growing support among different Iranian demographic. This is a positive development and necessary for democracy and it shows green movement’s secular demand for Iran’s future political system and its societal tolerance for all the religions in Iran. There is no doubt year 2010 would be an important year for all of us and there is no doubt Iranian regime's nuclear threat will be diminished with the fruitfulness of Neda and Sohrab and thousand of Iranian freedom fighters who stood firmly against the Tyrants in Tehran and do not want nuclear bomb as the protesters shouted during their rally . It is just the matter of time and possibly months before we hear the headline on 2010 “Islamic Republic has collapsed.”

Update On Iran Insurrection 12/30/09

Today the fake government of Iran held their own rally, and they could only find up to 20,000 people to show up. They bought them food, made them signs, told them what to chant, and took them home. Oh yes, they had to bus them in from outside of Tehran, so they were not Tehranis. Pretty slick, eh?

Notice one thing, they did not have police shooting at them, they did not have the basij and the irgc fighting them. No riot gear. Yet the Green Movement, which is many times more popular, had about over one million people in July after the fake election and many hundreds of thousand people facing these thugs with no weapons, no protection, no nothing. All they had is disgust and courage.

They want a peaceful, secular Iran. They don't want to fight, and they were not fighting. It was the basij and irgc who started the fighting. They pushed them past the point of peaceful protest. They restrained their anger for so long.

Sunday was the 7th day after the death (they mourn the dead of Mohammad's grandson and family after 7 days on the day of Ashura, very holy day) of one their reformist Clerics who had criticized this regime ever since the 80's. He was one of the original people of the revolution in 1979. He soon became disenchanted with the way the government was taking shape. Many people in Iran are saddened at his loss, so their is a little division because the protest started on that day. Otherwise, they generally agree with the Green Movement.

It is true that not all the people agree or want Iran to change. You will find this in any party, any country, any state, etc. So please don't misquote me as saying everyone! *heh*

Even though I have been praying for the Christians in Iran and trying to talk to Congress about human rights issues, I still do not know as much about the Persian history as I would like to know. That is why I have three people I would like to introduce you to that are Iranian bloggers.

First I would like to introduce to a friend of mine who we share a blog with, his name is 'Korosh' and his blog is DEMOCRACY FOR IRAN دموكراسي براي ايران. He is a very peace-loving man, and he keeps up with the news pretty well.

I met Winston next. He has a site over at The Spirit of Man. He is a rather funny guy. (He has a great sense of humor.) He also desires a regime change. He has been following this history as it happens, so you should really check out his site.

I just found this site a couple days ago, but it is very good also. The name of it is The Daily Nite Owl and his latest post is ‘Millions’ Out in Support of Government in Iran? Think Again. This one covers the state run, state owned, state bought people to rally as if they are pro-government. Ha. If they loved the govt so much, why did they have to go out of town to gather people...starting yesterday!

I don't want to report anything I cannot confirm, and unfortunately I can't even be sure of this. All of them have relatives and friends in Iran, so I have a tendency to rely on their versions. They coincide with what I've been reading in the papers and seeing on Twitter's #iranelection. Also unfortunately, that's all I have for now. I hope to learn more for tomorrow. Until then, everyone stay safe and pray for our brothers and sisters who are fighting for their own Life and Liberty. Thanks.

Update: I have just read a marvelous article at Muslims Against Sharia by SP. The name of the article is Amil Imani: Is Regime Change Coming To Iran? Well written and more in depth than I could write. Great job.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.
